How do I program Weightlifting?

Once you’ve created the Basic Details of your WOD, you can begin adding Sections and Components.

 

To program Weightlifting:

    • In Wodify Admin > WOD > List > + New WOD, use the WOD Editor, click the drop-down that reads Add a Section
    • Select Weightlifting from the list to add the section header
    • Click Add a Component and click on the desired movement
    • Next, you will need to choose if the athletes are increasing in weight over their sets, staying at the same weight across multiple sets, or attempting max reps at a specific weight.

    • If Athletes will increase weight over multiple sets:



      • Under Display, enter the total work athletes will complete in the rep scheme - this will display in the app when viewing the WOD (i.e. 5-5-5-5-5)
      • Under Scoring, enter the number of heaviest set and reps your athletes will complete that day - this is what will populate on the Coachboard as measurable.



    • If Athletes will move the same weight over multiple sets:



      • Under Display, enter the rep scheme - this is the total work athletes will complete and what will display in the app when viewing the WOD (i.e. 5x5 @ 80%)
      • Under Scoring, enter the number of the heaviest set and reps your athletes will complete that day - this is what will populate on the Coachboard as measurable.



    • If Athletes are completing As Many Reps As Possible at the same weight:



    • Under Display, enter the rep scheme - this is the total work athletes will complete and what will display in the app when viewing the WOD (i.e. 5+ @ 85%)
    • Under Scoring, enter “1”  set and click “enable max reps” so athletes will log not only the weight they moved that day but also the number of reps completed (1x Max Reps)



  • Click Save and you will see the Section & Component have been added to the WOD for that day.
