How do I program MetCons?

You can benchmark athlete results by selecting one of the many preloaded, benchmark workouts in Wodify, creating your own Affiliate-standard benchmark to be tested overtime, or you can write any one-off workout for the day.

 

To program a non-benchmark metcon:




  1. On the WOD Editor, choose Metcon or your preferred name from the Section dropdown
  2. From the 3rd drop down (Create a Custom Component), select New Custom Metcon
  3. Next, type the details of your metcon for the day - this will display to your athletes when they view the WOD in Wodify
  4. Then, choose the score - this will populate on the Coachboard where your athletes will record their results
  5. Click Save and this Metcon will be added to the WOD

*IMPORTANT NOTE: You can save a custom Metcon as an Affiliate Benchmark from this screen by clicking Save as Benchmark*


 

You can choose a Benchmark Metcon that Wodify has preloaded or that you have saved:


  1. On the WOD Editor, choose Metcon or your preferred name from the Section dropdown
  2. Next, click on Add a Component
  3. Select the name of the preloaded workout you want to program - the details and scoring will automatically display. You will not be able to add or edit the WOD details but you can choose to add a comment ( + comment)
  4. Click Save and this Metcon will be added to the WOD

 

Applying RX+

You can add RX+ on any 1-off metcon. This allows your to give your athletes the option to make the workout harder. Just note in the details what RX+ athletes must do and be sure to add RX Plus on the measure section:
