How do I use tags for WODs?

You might be asking yourself how you can use our tagging feature when creating a new workout. Well, we're here to give you some sweet tips on how to leverage the tool to your greatest advantage.

 
Here is an easy example of some tags:

 

It's up to you how many tags you put on a workout, depending on how granular you want your searching capabilities to be later. Of course your possibilities are endless. You can use any word or phrase you want as a tag! You simply type a word in the "TAGS" field, then hit "Enter" 

 

Tip: Tags act as an easy way to label something for future reference, but to make them easy to find you need to have a clear process that adhere to. Without a structured approach to your tags, your searches will not yield the results you expect. 

 

How do you easily search for an old workout using tags?

  • From the WOD > List view you can create a custom search based on the tags you want. 

DOs and DON'Ts

 
DOS:

  1. Stick to a tagging methodology.
  2. Make it easy to remember.
  3. Always tag your workouts.
  4. Keep it concise.
  5. Create a saved search that includes all of your tags.When searching for workouts, you may find it to be faster to click and excluded tags than building a search from scratch.  

DON'T:

  1. Create too many tags (Less is more!)
  2. Use a system nobody else in the gym will understand.
  3. Use unnecessary tags on a workout. Nobody likes clutter!
