How do I auto-post results to Twitter?

Athletes are able to sync their Twitter and Wodify accounts so that their WOD results are posted to their Twitter feeds after each workout.


Auto-Post Results to Twitter

Auto-Post to Twitter can be setup via Web App or Mobile App.  In order to setup auto-post to Twitter, Athletes must:

  1. Login to Wodify
  2. Click 'My Profile'
  3. Click 'Social Integration' from the left sidenav
  4. Click 'Connect with Twitter'
  5. Add the Wodify Twitter app to their account


Non-benchmark Metcons are never posted. Users control which Weightlifting and/or Metcon results are posted to Twitter. These options are:

  1. Post all of my results without asking me
  2. Only post PR results without asking me. No other results will be posted.
  3. Never post my results


'Post all of my results without asking me' is the default option. To edit this option:

  1. Login to Wodify
  2. Click 'My Profile'
  3. Click 'Social Integration' from the left sidenav
  4. Edit the Weightlifting or Metcon field as appropriate
  5. Click Save

 

IMPORTANT!! Time to Auto-Post:
There is a 45 minute delay between the time the result is logged in Wodify and posted on Twitter. The 45 minute timer begins on the first update to the result on the Coachboard or via Mobile. If the Athlete does not make any updates during that 45 minute window, the result is posted. If the Athlete DOES make an update during the 45 minute window, a fresh 45 minute window is created for the user to update, and so on.

 

Clear Wodify & Twitter Settings

Users that wish to their end Wodify & Twitter connection may do so by:

  1. Login to Wodify
  2. Click 'My Profile'
  3. Click 'Social Integration' from the left sidenav
  4. Click the button 'Disable Twitter Connection'
