How do I edit a recurring class that has sign-ins and/or reservations?

Follow

Editing a Recurring Class with a sign-in or reservation against it could potentially cause a duplicate class to be created. We say 'potentially' because it really depends on what you are editing on a recurring class.

Changes to recurring classes that will not produce duplicate classes are:

  • Update name of recurring class
  • Enable a waitlist for a class
  • Disable a waitlist for a class (anyone currently on the waitlist will be emailed notifying them of change)
  • Update Coach
  • Update Assistant Coach
  • Update Reservation Open Window
  • Update Reservation Closes Window
  • Update Cancellation Window
  • Update Auto-Cancel option (either enable or disable)
  • Update Count Towards Attendance Limits
  • Update Calendar Color
  • Increasing a class limit
  • Decreasing a class limit (any class that currently has more reservations than the updated class limit will not be affected)

IMPORTANT!!:  You can not update the Location or Program on any existing Recurring Class. If you are editing a class to change Location and Program, delete the existing Recurring Class and create a new one.

What changes could cause a duplicate class?

Changes made to start/end dates and start/end times will cause a duplicate to be made.  You will be warned of the duplicate upon edit AND on the classes list. Each duplicate will be marked with an orange warning icon.

To edit a recurring class on a one-off basis:

  1. Login to Wodify Admin > 'Classes' > 'List'
  2. Find the class you would like to make the change to > Click on the 'Name' of the class

To edit a recurring class and have changes reflect going forward:

  2. Find the class you would like to make the change to > Click on the 'Name' of the class
  3. Make changes > Save
